Daniele Mascia is Associate Professor of Organization and Human Resource Management at Luiss Guido Carli University. With a Ph.D. in Management, he previously held appointments at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (assistant professor) and at the University of Bologna (associate professor). He acquired further academic experience as visiting researcher/professor at the University of Sydney Business School, Chalmers University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and at USI (University of Italian Switzerland). He is currently research fellow at Foundation IMIT—Institute for Management of Innovation and Technology (Sweden). His research interests include the study of organizational social networks, the analysis of leadership and team processes in the context of organizational change, and the study of learning dynamics in complex organizations. For his research, Prof. Mascia received a number of awards and distinctions from, among others, the Academy of Management and the Operational Research Society. He is evaluator of research projects and individual profiles on behalf of the Italian Ministry of Research and Education, the Swiss National Foundation for Scientific Research and the Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development. Prof. Mascia has been advisor of public and private organizations in the health sector (hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers)
