PhD, SPRU, University of Sussex – is the Rector of LUISS University (I). He is a Full Professor of Organization Theory and Innovation and a Visiting Professor at Rotterdam School of Management (NL). Andrea holds the International Chair in Project Studies at BI Norway.
He has held academic positions at SPRU, INSEAD (F), and University G. d’Annunzio (I) and has been a Visiting Professor at SPRU and Imperial College Business School. Andrea is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Studies. Additionally, he sits on the editorial board of Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, International Journal of Project Management, Research Policy and Long Range Planning.
Andrea’s research interests revolve around the organization of innovation; project-based organizations; and the relationships between regional social capital and firms’ innovation performance.
He has published articles on these subjects in management and organisation journals – e.g. Administrative Science Quarterly and Organization Science – and in major innovation journals – e.g. Research Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change.
