She holds a PhD in Management and Business Administration from University G. d’Annunzio, Pescara. She has been visiting scholar at Aalto School of Business in Helsinki, HEC School of Management in Paris, and Cass Business School in London. She has also worked at Seedcamp, Europe’s leading pre-seed and seed stage acceleration fund based in London.
Her main research interests are in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Organisation. Her works focus on the crowdfunding phenomenon from different perspectives, exploring the benefits of crowdfunding as a tool for open innovation in new ventures, and how behavioural mechanisms and cultural factors influence individuals’ willingness to risk investing in crowdfunding projects.
